After getting ousted from the house, Mahek Chahal was furious over allegations made by Pooja Bedi against her being Salman Khan’s favouritism towards her. She replied saying, “She (Pooja) is a very insecure person. That’s why she has been spreading such lies.
She is a woman of 40 and it surprises me that she indulges in such cheap publicity stunts. “If I was really Mr Khan’s (Salman) favorite I would have been the main lead in all his films. I should also have won the show,” Mahek told PTI. 
“I have known him since the age of 18. I have worked with him in films. I also know Mr. Dutt. That does not mean they will favour me,” she added.
Contrary to previous claims by other contestants that audience watch the edited version of the show, Mahek said that ‘Bigg Boss’ does not edit out the happenings in the house. She also said that fellow contestant Sky (Akashdeep Saigal) is the bad boy in the house.
When asked Who are the two most untrustworthy people in the celebrity house? Mahek replies with a hearty laugh: “Amar Upadhyay and Shonali Nagrani! They are both thali ke baingan (Eggplants in a plate), and you never know on whose side they are! So, they should get married because they deserve each other!”
